At Lookout Point we aim to make your New Zealand itinerary planning and booking process as simple as possible.

Follow these effortless steps so that we can begin tailoring your luxury New Zealand vacation.

1.  Explore the Lookout Point Website

We recommend you spend some time exploring our website and make a note of any properties, activities or destinations that interest you. 

The more insights that you can provide about what you like or dislike, as well as any special requests, will allow us to tailor your itinerary to suit your unique requirements and tastes.
  
2.  Contact Lookout Point

To begin the process contact Lookout Point by telephone or by using our Enquiry Form. Our telephone number from North America is 1800 731 7980 or from anywhere else in the world +64 3 379 4401.

With our office located in New Zealand, time zones can differ but regardless of how you contact us, if you reach us outside of office hours we will get back to you as soon as practical.

From experience we find that if you have the time to talk on the telephone we can usually gain a really thorough understanding from you of exactly what you are looking for, hence speeding up the process of custom designing your New Zealand holiday. Let us know if there is a particular time that suits to talk on the telephone and we will happily call you back.

3.  The Design Period

Once we have received your initial enquiry by telephone or via the website, your expert Lookout Point travel consultant will begin considering your specific requirements for your New Zealand adventure including your travel dates, number of people in your travel party, special interests, budget and style of travel.

Depending on the initial information you provide to us, we may come back to you with some further questions, all of which we use to tailor your itinerary as much as possible.

Once we have all the information we require, your luxury New Zealand travel consultant will utilise the collective local knowledge and resources of Lookout Point create a wonderful tailored New Zealand itinerary for you.

4.  Your Unique New Zealand Experience

We will email you a copy of your proposed New Zealand luxury adventure in an itinerary format. Please take the time to read through your itinerary. We are more than happy to answer any questions or comments you may have about your holiday and further refine your itinerary to meet your exact needs.

We offer package pricing which includes all components of your tailor made holiday, which may include some or all of your accommodation, domestic flights, private guided touring, dining, scenic helicopter flights, golf and activity arrangements, rental vehicles, drivers etc.

We will also send you a copy of our Standard Terms & Conditions.

5.  Confirming Your New Zealand Arrangements

In order to confirm your New Zealand travel arrangements we will send you an invoice for 25% deposit payment of the total trip cost (unless advised otherwise). Once we have received this deposit payment we will secure all arrangements for your vacation. Typically clients make payment to Lookout Point by either international funds transfer or by secure credit card payment through via our website.

6.  Final Payment

The balance of your trip payment is required 60 days prior to travel (unless advised otherwise).

Approximately 30 days before you travel Lookout Point will send you your New Zealand travel documents including a copy of your final itinerary, directions, travel vouchers, New Zealand information, as well as contact details that you can leave with your family and friends. We will also advise you of our 24 hour emergency contact phone number that you can utilise while in New Zealand if required.

7.  In New Zealand

Relax...you are on vacation! One of the team from Lookout Point will meet you on your arrival into New Zealand and welcome you to our wonderful country. Our role is to make your New Zealand adventure wonderfully relaxing, with smooth arrangements throughout.

8.  Feedback

We value your thoughts and opinions on your holiday and the entire process provided by Lookout Point and our New Zealand partners. This allows us to better understand the level of service and comfort that Lookout Point, as well as all our New Zealand based suppliers are offering our valued clients.
