"My name is David Hiatt and I am the founder of Lookout Point. I was born and educated in the South Island, but have been lucky enough to live, work and travel throughout New Zealand. After also living and travelling extensively throughout the world including Canada, the United States, Europe and Africa, my wife and I decided to move back to our homeland.
We have been very fortunate to experience some of the most amazing places throughout the world and we are forever recapping stories from our travels, but to us, there has never been one destination that has created memories and conversations like that of our own country New Zealand.
The more we travelled, the more passionate we felt about our
 great country, and the more we wanted to build a boutique company that allowed us to share the very best of New Zealand with the world. Not coach tours. Not off the shelf tours. Not numbers. We wanted to deliver unique experiences to couples, families and small groups. My wife Nichola once said to me, "the type of trip we would recommend to our friends". And she was right. Taking the hassle out of travel with personalised, yet professional, friendly service.

Overall this was an experience of a lifetime and a lot of that is down to Lookout Point and specifically David Hiatt. We are still talking about it and the children would go back tomorrow. Thank you for arranging a great trip!
